The word Taiko in Japanese means drum. “Taiko” also refers to a style of drumming and when played in community, it’s referred to as Kumi-daiko or Wadaiko.
Ashland Taiko is a community based organization which holds classes taught by Ashland Taiko Director, Pam Vellutini. The classes range from beginners, children and adults, to troupe performers.
